Games to be showcased by Sony at CES

Things are starting to clear up for Sony, as they have just reached the one million PS3s sold milestone. They have just announced this, at this year's Consumers Electronics Show, and by the looks of it, the PlayStation 3 is the best selling Sony console so far.

According to Jack Tretton, the president of SCEA, this one million mark was reached faster by the PS3 than their previous console, (and most successful one so far) the PS2. You probably know that Sony went to great lengths to meet demand for PS3, and Jack Tretton points out that they even included airlift systems into North America on a weekly basis to ensure a steady stream of units.

Hate it or love it, the PS3 will bring you some great games, and a few of these games will be showcased at this year's CES. If you visit Sony's booth, you might stumble upon Formula One Championship Edition, MLB 07 The Show (which will also be available on the PSP), MotorStorm, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Grand Turismo HD Concept (which is also available for download via the PlayStation Network), Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters (for the PSP), Killzone: Liberation (PSP), SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 (PSP).

But it's not all about the PS3, don't forget the PS2. Sony's second full-pledged console will see two important games released in 2007, MLB 07 The Show and God of War II. If you come to think of it, Sony is making serious efforts to assure a constant flow of consoles to the market, given the fact that they are currently selling three consoles: PSP, PS2 and PS3.
