South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics announced not too long ago plans to come to the market with a new iteration of its highly popular Chocolate, and rumors have also pointed towards the fact that the device will also be included in the company's Black Label series. While the said device has been until now only believed to be the LG BL40, the handset maker has released some official photos of the phone, along with a few more details on it, and it all has become more certain at the moment.

The new Chocolate handset from LG is also the fourth in the company's Black Label family, and is expected to come to the market with a large screen, 4.0 inches in size. In addition, the display is capable of boasting a 800 x 345-pixel resolution, and also sports a 21:9 aspect ratio for video playback. Not to mention the fact that it reportedly comes with a Dual Screen UI, which can deliver two types of content at the same time.

Other details that are now available on the phone include the fact that the wide screen has been overlaid with curved, tempered glass, and seems to fit perfectly the glossy, black finish with red highlights. For what it's worth, the new LG Chocolate looks more than attractive, and it might prove as popular as its predecessor. It won't be too long before the device becomes available for purchase, as LG has announced it plans to launch it in the third quarter of the year, in a number of 54 countries.

Unfortunately, there are no details on the price of the handset, nor on the possibility that it might come on the offering of a certain carrier around the world, but more should be unveiled in the near future. At the same time, we should also mention that the company hasn't said anything about the other leaked handset from the BL family, LG BL42. This handset should reportedly feature a sliding form factor, while being shorter than the now official LG BL40.
