UK wireless carrier O2 has already launched a nice range of Windows Phone devices, including some Lumia handsets from Nokia, and it appears set to promote their capabilities a bit more.

In this regard, the wireless carrier has published a video demo of Nokia’s City Lens app, which can be found in the Windows Phone Store with support for the Finish handset vendor’s devices.

In the video demo available above, you can see Darren, Thomas and Dede from We Have Band using the mobile application to discover the streets of London and find various hidden gems.

“Nokia City Lens is an augmented reality app for Windows Phone, which gives you a wealth of information about the world around you, with photos and reviews of nearby shops, bars and restaurants, and turn-by-turn directions to get you there,” the wireless carrier notes.
