Nokia Beta Labs has announced today that the Nokia Point & Find has been updated, and that it can now be used as a mobile discovery platform that enables users to launch their own experiences. According to Sophie-Charlotte Moatti, P&F team, the P&F Management Portal enables users to create, manage and share custom experiences with other users and these experiences are called 'worlds'.

Those who would like to enjoy the 'worlds' that the Nokia Point & Find enables them to build should start with the creation of an account, after which they will be able to learn how to create and personalize a world. One thing that should be mentioned here though is that the creation of a world comes with a subscription fee.

Among other features that the newly updated service offers users there’s the creation of directories, where they can associate images to content or actions. In order to organize the directory easier, multiple folders can be created, which will also enable a faster navigation.

In addition, they will also benefit from secure access to their account, and they will be able to choose which users can have access to or can join their world. Moreover, they will have the possibility to add and manage tags, which will enable them to set actions that should be taken when others point at different objects. At the same time, tags can be modified, copied, or deleted.

The Nokia Point & Find client also enables users to download worlds by entering their names on the Add/Remove world screen on the client. The service is not in a final stage yet but, as you can see, the development team is working on delivering improvements to it. Those who would like to try out Nokia Point & Find can download the latest version of the client from Softpedia as well, via this link. More details can be found here.
