How considerate, how vile

It's a tough world out there on the telecom market. Apple made a mistake with yesterday's major price drop and Nokia is thrilling on its crumbs. The company has brought out a Google ad addressed at the iPhone's early adopters and offering their MOSH free content.

It looks rather wicked of Nokia to try to make its competition look even worse when it is facing the customers' disapproval on its recent decisions. It also appears to be a thoughtless decision to show their pity to the Apple fans and, thus, only accidentally its market.

Most of those who rushed to be among the first people to own an iPhone and queued for hours in front of Apple stores are little responsive to Nokia's messages. Who likes to be pitied, after all? This might prove to be a bad move coming from the world's leading handset producer, in a thoughtless moment of spiteful joy over the reaction that Apple's price cut decision has received.

The Nokia ad appears on the Google search engine when the terms "iPhone price drop" are introduced. The situation takes the shape of a domestic fight, as Apple has also posted its own ad, in response to that of Nokia. As a result of the same search, the iPhone producer says "Congrats, Late Adopters", presenting a detailed offer on the price drop for their handset. Google is a silent battle ground for the two companies, but it must be laughing its heart out in the background.

Now that Apple has decided to give a USD 100 refund to early iPhone adopters, there are high chances that they will be less responsive to Nokia's marketing flicks and rather start thinking on what they will buy with the money that they will receive. The refund is actually a store credit that they can use for purchasing any products at Apple Retail Stores.
