A Nokia handset was just introduced at FCC. The device has been labeled under a name that will surely change when it becomes ready to hit the market. That should happen pretty soon for this Nokia RM-310, as it has just made a major step towards its release.

The mobile phone features a large number of performances that make it perfect for those who don't expect a phone to wow them, but only to efficiently meet their demands. Nokia RM-310 brings most of the average performances that can be found in handsets nowadays, without any touch of luxury or non-functional purpose.

Even the phone's design fully reveals that, as it has a rather modest look and will appear plain and unattractive to many people. The slightly rounded corners and simple design make Nokia RM-310 perfect for both men and women, one very practical choice from the producers.

The handset comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, excellent for taking average quality pictures. The user can also tilt the camera in landscape mode in order to take captures in an even more comfortable way. There is also a LED flash, which adds up to the efforts that Nokia has made in order to bring this phone's camera performances closer to a real digital one.

Connectivity is available through Bluetooth and USB, which means that the user can sync with his PC or laptop. Nokia RM-310 also has Java MIDP support and a microSD memory card slot, for making sure that the user does not run out of data storage space.

Another useful feature is that the phone also comes with Visual Radio support, which gives the user information about radio programs that he is listening to. The phone also packs Quickoffice applications, including Quickword, Quicksheet and Quickpoint.

Nokia RM-310 has only seen FCC approval at this time. No word yet on its price or the date when it will hit the market.
