Hours away from official unveiling

Although the launch of Nokia N81 is expected to take place today, during the GoPlay presentation in London, some official photos have already appeared. The same has happened with the other devices that will be presented on this occasion, but Nokia N81 is probably the most expected of them all.

What this device has to pride with most of all is the fact that it manages to pack 8Gb of internal memory. A special version of Nokia N95 is the only other Nokia handset capable of providing this feature, but this phone is also waiting to be released during the same event.

Another feature that looks to confer some appreciation upon this phone is the special design that makes it perfect for gaming, listening to music and comfortable handling in any situation. The handset will also pack a 2 megapixel camera that will take care of almost all entertainment aspects on this device.

Nokia N81 is meant to be a music phone, one of the many devices that the Finnish producer has decided to launch for covering this line too. The phone's sizes might sound to be quite large for those people that have grown used to the slim, fragile-looking handsets. At 102 x 50 x 17.9 mm and 140 grams in weight, the mobile phone will not impress anyone with its sizes, although the smooth, polished case surely adds to its good looks.

A large number of people have long expected the release of Nokia N81 despite its large sizes. Maybe that's because it manages to provide the same amount of internal memory as the iPhone and also rings support for Nokia's N-Gage gaming platform.

Nokia N81 has also received a special kind of publicity through a viral marketing website counting down until today. All proof points towards a release later today, in London. The clock is ticking.
