Today, a new flavor of the Nokia Maps with Weather application has emerged from the Nokia Beta Labs and is now available for some of the latest Symbian devices out there.

The new Nokia Maps 3.08 with Weather was pushed out of the beta status with a new installer in tow, and is available for all handsets running under Symbian^3 or newer platform flavors.

Nokia Maps 3.08 with Weather was available for testing in the Nokia Beta Labs for a while now, but the issues that it might have included have been solved courtesy of the feedback that users provided on the matter.

“This version also debuted a new installer that shows what you’re installing as it downloads, rather than installing one massive software package at once,” the Nokia Maps Team explains in a post on the Nokia Beta Labs blog.

“The latest version of this installer has gone on to Nokia Maps Suite, where you get four apps in one download.”

The team also explains that they will continue to enhance the experience users receive from the app through adding more improvements to the application based on their suggestions.

Those who would like to download and install the latest flavor of the application on their devices will find it either via the Nokia Store or through Nokia's mobile website, as well as via the Nokia Suite.

“You can find the latest version of Nokia Maps 3.08 for the Nokia 603, 700, and 701 at Nokia Store on the web or nokia.mobi on your phone,” the aforementioned blog post explains.

“For all other Symbian^3 devices, you can get the official Nokia Maps 3.08 release via the software update on your phone or via Nokia Suite in the software update section.”

Nokia Maps was announced for Windows Phone devices as well, though only Nokia's users will be able to enjoy full access to its features.
