14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia 3710 fold, the newest handset unveiled today by the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia, comes to the market with the latest in mobile functionality packed inside an attractive design. The device, the company says, includes a wide range of features that make its usage as easy as it can be, while also featuring an artistic pattern on the cover, which provides a personal touch.
“There is a solid demand for good-looking, intuitive and easy-to-use handsets with modern features,” said Markku Suomi, vice president, Connect devices. “The Nokia 3710 fold packs in a renewed, but instantly familiar user interface that makes the appealing array of features enjoyable to use, offering great value for money.”
The new Nokia 3710 fold sports a clamshell form factor, includes a bright screen, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with video recording capabilities, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space on a single card. In addition, the phone also features support for Ovi services, as well as connectivity with online sharing sites, offering users the possibility to not only share memories with others, but to explore new services and content as well.
According to the phone maker, the new Nokia 3710 fold comes with a renewed user interface, and offers a lot of simplicity, coupled with mobile functionality. The menus on the handset are both simple and intuitive, while the new Photo Gallery enables users to organize photos, create slide shows, or attach photos to contacts. In addition, Nokia says, the renewed interface will come to a larger number of mobile phones in the future.
Other features of the Nokia 3710 fold include fast access to location-based services from Ovi Store and Nokia Map. The handset includes a GPS receiver offering the possibility to customize it for user's needs, including social networking or pedestrian navigation. According to the company, the phone should become available for purchase in the fourth quarter of 2009. The price tag for the handset has been set at EUR 140 before taxes and subsidies.
