Got a sweet spot in your heart for Nokia's Communicator phone line-up? If the case, this info will certainly make you rise an eyebrow. The recently unveiled E90 has just hit the FCC stands and - as the documents published by them on their secrets revealing website - the handset has passed all the tests and the FCC guys stood beside it with both thumbs up.

The device is a part of the second wave of Nokia Eseries mobile phones and comes with GSM 850 / 1900 and WCDMA 850 / 1700 / 1900 radios. That's a lot of 3G packed in one single handset and a sure sign the E90 is going to hit the US mobile market anytime now.

If I were to mention a certain period in time when this handset will cross the ocean stateside I would go for this year's second quarter (do you remember Nokia saying something about E90 deliveries around then? I do :) ).

Although there is no reason to believe that yet, the rumors already mention a carrier that will get the E90 first and its name is T-Mobile. Nothing is absolutely sure at the moment on the subject, so we will just have to wait and see which mobile operator will be the fastest to sign a deal with the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer regarding an exclusive release of the E90 (at least for a month or two).

The phone's spec sheet mentions a 16 million colors internal display sporting a 800x352 pixels resolution, an external one of 240x320 pixels, a feature that will allow you to continue running the active application on the screen of your choice, a 3.2 digital camera and a secondary VGA one for video calls, a microSD memory expansion card slot and a Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition OS.

Nokia has already given us an idea of how much we will have to pay for the E90 when it will be finally available on the market, somewhere around 750-800 US dollars, Euros or something like that because they failed to mention the currency they were referring to (I would go for the Euros, given the fact that Nokia is an European company).

Things are pretty soon going to be cleared up when the handset hits the shelves, but until then, sit tight and wait for updates because I'll make sure you'll be the first to know in case anything new related to the E90 subject comes to surface.
