Nokia E7, the business-orientated Symbian^3 based smartphone that Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced officially back in September, is expected to arrive on the UK market sometime in the first quarter of the next year, on the airwaves of wireless carrier Three UK.

According to the wireless carrier, the new device should offer a great experience to all of its customers, especially since it comes with features similar to those offered by the company's flagship Nokia N8 smartphone.

“We're pleased to be adding another Symbian^3 device to our smartphone range. The Nokia E7 makes the most of our strong 3G network showcasing features such as Email, huge 4" screen for fast browsing and customizable home screens,” Sylvia Chind, Head of Branded Devices, said.

For those who out of the loop, we should note that the new handset combines the said 4-inch touchscreen display with a side sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Moreover, the screen comes with Nokia Clear Black Display technology, which provides users with clearer viewing of pictures, videos and Internet pages, so that one could use it outdoor, as well as for a great gaming or movie viewing experience.

Some of the main features of the new Nokia device include:

- 4" ClearBlack AMOLED touch screen and QWERTY - Real-time work and personal emails - Maps with free GPS navigation - 8 MP camera and HD video - Fully integrated social networks

The handset also comes with Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, GPS receiver, 16GB mass memory, HDMI connectivity, and more. Of course, the new Symbian^3 OS flavor adds some more features into the mix too.

Unfortunately, Three did not offer specific info on when the device would be released, nor on the price tag or plan options that would be put in place for it at that time. However, more on this device would be unveiled in early 2011, so keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
