Nokia has just announced that they will be working with JWT in their marketing planning and future expansion strategies. This company will take care of implementing and localizing global campaigns for the Finnish company.

Nokia is currently
undergoing a process of redefining their company expansion line. Starting with next year, they have decided to build on this restructuring process a completely new company strategy. They have already sketched their main interests and are now looking to find the best means to make them come true. This is where JWT finds its place perfectly.

The global network marketing agency will support the lead creative agencies in the implementation and localization of global campaigns. Nokia has already got us used to developing unusual marketing flicks to promote their products and intend to follow the same line. Their viral marketing campaigns have managed many times until now to reach their target and effectively promote the mobile phones that they intended to. Just recently, we have seen such results in the N95, the Eseries and music phones too.

"Working together with JWT will help us to align our marketing efforts. With one global marketing network partner, we believe we will be better positioned to reach our goal of becoming the most loved and admired brand by people in the world", says Pekka Rantala, Senior Vice President, Nokia.

Nokia has decided to choose JWK because of this company's leading position in the field and also due to its experience. As a result, from now on, it will support Nokia's long term marketing strategy and business requirements locally.

Transition to the new marketing mode will begin during the fall and will be fully operational by January 1, 2008. That is just about when Nokia has announced in the past that they intend on starting their new development strategy, which also needs proper marketing support.
