Megan Fox may cut an impressive action movie heroine but there is a line she draws when it comes to the films she’s going to star in. In a recent interview, the “Transformers” beauty hints that, despite ongoing speculation that she’ll be taking over Angelina Jolie in the upcoming “Tomb Raider,” it will not happen. The same goes for Wonder Woman, of whom she says she’s a lame character she would never want to play.

Speculation about Fox treading in the footsteps of screen siren Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft has been making the rounds for many months, but it is very unlikely to happen, if we’re to believe reports in the media. Times Online, for instance, seems to be almost certain that Fox has already turned down the offer for the upcoming “Tomb Raider” film for reasons yet unknown and despite being a favorite with producers, out of a very long list of potential leading ladies.

As for Wonder Woman, another legendary female character Fox was rumored to take on, that will not happen either. As far as the actress is concerned, Wonder Woman is not even worth her time, since she’s a lame character she would never want to play – which practically ruins any chance of seeing Megan in the red and blue legendary mini-outfit.

“Wonder Woman is a lame superhero. She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don’t want to do it.” Fox says when asked about whether speculation she would bring the superheroine back to life on the big screen was grounded in reality. Similarly, Fox was also rumored at one point to be the next She-Hulk in a long feature film, but since no details on that one have yet emerged, it is probably safe to assume that it was just as unfounded as the Wonder Woman one.

While not yet ready to be constantly associated with the idea of a heroine, Megan Fox would settle for being just a good role model, as she reveals in the same interview. “It depends on what your idea of a role model is. If your idea of a role model is somebody who’s gonna preach to your kids that […] cursing is wrong and women should be this and be that, then I’m not a role model. But if you want your girls to feel strong and intelligent and be outspoken and fight for what they think is right, then I want to be that type of role model, yeah.” Fox explains.
