Nintendo just recently announced that it planned to release game demos for the Wii and it has already made it happen. This week's list of downloads from Nintendo also includes fives demos for the Wii console. The first one on the list is also accompanied by its full game and it's the Pokemon Rumble. The title is pretty much a generic Pokemon game, with proxy battles of your ball-caged creatures, which supports a co-op for up to four players to take out the more powerful bosses. You'll be able to defeat by yourself the simpler enemies, and, in true Pokemon-fashion, you'll be able to add some of the defeated munchkins to your own collection. Nintendo's game is available for 1,500 Wii Points, while the demo is up for free.

The next available demo is the one for Aksys's BIT.TRIP BEAT, a retro take on the rhythm-game genre. It offers a co-op for up to four players with old-school graphics, 8-bit soundtrack and a difficulty level to take them back to the days of button mashing. The third demo is that for FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: My Life as a Darklord, a world-conquest role-playing game with a Dungeon Keeper flavor. As the daughter of the Darklord, players have to move their flying tower across the map to conquer other territories, while filling their fortress with all sorts of traps to keep away all the wannabe heroes.

The fourth demo up on the WiiWare is the one for NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, and you'll take control of Nyx, Icarus's sister, as you fly around ancient Greece in order to find your missing brother. It supports a two-player co-op, where one player controls the flying maiden, while the other unleashes the Olympian powers. Last, but most definitely not least, is the demo for 2D Boy's World of Goo. The physics-based puzzle-construction game will have you use the balls of goo to work your way around the environment and solve the present puzzles.

The first game on DSiWare is a bit of an odd concept to say the least. Art Style: DIGIDRIVE will have you manage and direct the traffic of a busy road. The 200-DSi-Point puzzle game might sound a bit peculiar to say the least, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun. The game offers several game modes in which you'll either be able to solve the puzzles in a different mode and pace or lead all the cars to the biggest pileup in history, just for the fun of your personal sadistic satisfaction. The next on the list is Skyworks Interactive's Arcade Bowling, designed by the renowned David Crane, one of the founding fathers of Activision. It's available for 200 DSi Points and it depicts a bowling game with a twist.

Teyon's Robot Rescue feels like a puzzle mini-game of a larger project, but, if you're willing to torture yourself with an intricate and complex puzzle, the 200 DSi Points that the game costs will be well spent. The last two titles are the ones added to the Virtual Console, Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures and STREET FIGHTER II: CHAMPION EDITION. The first will take you through some of the most famous scenes of Indiana's adventures, while SFII will provide the classic fighting game action. Capcom's title is available for 700 Wii Points, while the Indiana Jones game is up for 800 Wii Points.
