Nintendo DS Will Get Some Magic Made Fun This Spring

- Become a home Houdini by playing games

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

Ever dreamed of becoming a great magician, perform the tricks nobody has ever seen before and put a spell on the audience? Seen "The Prestige" and dreamed about doing the same magical stuff – or at least something close to that? The Nintendo DS portable console might get you as close as you will ever be to becoming a magician with Magic Made Fun, a game for all ages to be launched on the 14th of March this year.

Become immersed in a world of trickery and illusion, with the
Nintendo DS acting as sorcerer’s assistant for a variety of interactive and awe-inspiring tricks. Making full use of the Nintendo DS’s unique features, Magic Made Fun incorporates the Touch Screen, microphone and button combinations, as well as utilizing the deck of cards to create illusions beyond belief! The game also comes bundled with a deck of playing cards, in case you want to try some tricks in the real world and perform magic shows in front of your family or friends.

There are multiple game modes in Magic Made Fun, each coming with some exciting features. For example, in the Solo Magic mode, you will have to look at the Nintendo DS screen and try to guess how the magic tricks are done. If you manage, you are, obviously, one step closer to becoming a great magician yourself! That will be possible with the DS as well, since the Magic Show game mode allows you to dazzle any chosen audience by putting on... magic shows, as the name suggests. But, if you find any of these tricks too hard to understand, or you just need some more practice, a Secret Mode will be available to you, where every trick will be detailed.

So, you all know that practice makes perfect and Magic Made Fun is the best and most entertaining way of practicing, whether it is hand co-ordination or a performance skill "upgrade". So, get ready for the real showtime on the 14th of March, when the game releases exclusively for the DS consoles.
