For all of you gamers that love a great story, Lexicon Entertainment is proud to announce its cartoon styled puzzle game, The Dream of Neko, launching in the third quarter of 2007 for the Nintendo DS handheld gaming platform. The game is set in a magical world where the lead character has the ability to morph into other creatures which will help in achieving goals within the quest! Inside this colorful and vivid world, the player will be able to use a tremendous amount of powers and weapons including fireballs, funny mimics and others, complete with stunning visual effects.

Since its inception in 2005, Lexicon Entertainment has continually been heralded for its focus on creating rich, immersive worlds for players to discover. Thus, the developer thought to create a story-line for the game that can capture even older consumers looking for a fun to play cartoon puzzler. The story goes something like this: Neko is a kitten with a fascination for humans and in many ways is envious in that they can eat anything they want, and travel fast using big weird mechanical machines. After a hard day's hunting in the forest, he decides to rest and swiftly falls asleep but is awoken by a sudden, unusual noise, and a blinding light, emerging out of his body. Our little kitten felt strange and sensed that something had changed. What do you reckon that was? He was transformed and became human.

Oh, where's my hankie? No really, It's kinda' catchy, although a little sentimental. But Neko soon discovers that it's not so easy being a human. Neko has to go through the 6 worlds of the game where the player must help him to recover/discover his appearance. Neko will meet many creatures trying to stop him, but he can use items and magical powers to oppose them. Neko can also collect invaluable coins scattered across the levels to buy more essential items. (pretty much like in MegaMan for the PSone, only there weren't coins, but crystals). Each of the six entrancing settings has its own puzzles to solve and a boss stage to complete to reach the next world!
