Nintendo has just confirmed that it’s going to deploy the promised 10 Game Boy Advance downloadable titles for the 3DS Ambassadors, aka those customers that bought the console at full price before its drastic price cut in August.

The Nintendo 3DS sold quite a lot of units when it was originally released in February and March this year, but it quickly dropped in sales, forcing Nintendo to adopt a major price cut in order to keep it alive in the eyes of consumers before it managed to reveal various special editions and high quality games for the handheld device.

In order to keep those who bought the console at full price happy, the company also confirmed that they will be named 3DS Ambassadors and get 20 free downloadable games until the end of the year.

On September 1, Nintendo deployed 10 remastered NES titles, including some of its most classic titles, like Mario, Zelda or Metroid, for its Ambassadors, while promising that 10 free GBA games would soon be released for the handheld platform.

Since then, quite a long time has passed, so 3DS owners started getting anxious about their free games. Nintendo, after calming them down with a previous statement, has now confirmed that the promised 10 free GBA titles will be released on Friday, December 16.

The company also confirmed just what games will be released for free to 3DS Ambassadors, so check them all out below.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity Super Mario Advance 3 The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Kirby & the Amazing Mirror Mario Kart Advance Mario vs Donkey Kong Metroid Fusion Wario Land Advance Made in Wario All these games will be available for download by 3DS Ambassadors from the console’s online eShop sometime tomorrow, although a concrete time has yet to be revealed for each specific territory.
