They fix your Wii in 30 minutes and even apologize for the delay

Here's something that you probably hear only once in a lifetime: Nintendo customer care fixes your Wii in no more, no less than 30 MINUTES, does a good job at it too and they even apologize for the repairing taking so long. It's the story of a woman in Redmond, Washington who broke her Nintendo Wii while playing on it with her 6-year-old son. I know what you're thinking: 'what on Earth was the mother playing with her son that they could both understand?' Beats me, but that's not what the story is all about.

Anyway, the woman contacted Nintendo's customer service on the internet right after the console broke and left her phone number to be called back on the matter. The call soon came and the woman told Nintendo support of her problem. The voice on the other end of the wire said: "Oh, you live in Washington? Bring it on over to Nintendo HQ then. We'll fix it right up." What is this, the Twilight Zone or something?

So the woman did exactly as told and went over to Nintendo's customer service HQ, where she was even greeted by a life-size Mario statue in the waiting room. What? Yeah they have a waiting room too, where mother and child can wait worried sick that the operation may have side effects. The room is also full of Nintendo consoles and games as 1UP says. Naturally, the service was irreproachable and mother and child got their happy ending. The woman even posted her story on the net. Her blog entry said: "Customer Service Gone Shockingly Right."

Great job Nintendo! They do so good on every level that some may even start hating them for their irreproachable customer service. You know, something like this makes a person look like Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter.
