The other day saw the surprise release of a new video on Tidal, with Nicki Minaj and Beyonce teaming up once more to deliver sheer awesomeness to the fans with “Feeling Myself,” their second collaboration so far.

A teaser for the video is included below, with the full version being available only to those with a paying subscription to Jay Z’s streaming music service. It’s in the full video that Nicki is seen wearing a Givenchy shirt believed to be a very expensive diss at her record label mate Tyga.

“Pervert 17” shirt is about Tyga’s underage girlfriend

You might have heard that rapper Tyga, a 25-year-old father of one, is now dating the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. Rumor has it they became romantically involved when Kylie was just 15.

The relationship has received plenty of media attention, especially in recent months, when both stopped trying to hide or deny it.

Tyga has even spoken out on it in several interviews, saying Kylie was mature for her years and, as such, there was nothing wrong with him dating her. He laughed at the idea of it being statutory rape, which it is.

So Nicki wearing a jersey that reads “Pervert 17” might look like the most random thing ever, but she and Tyga have been feuding for months, after he spoke to the media about how much he hated having to perform with her and Drake only because they were signed to the same label.

In response, Drake and Nicki have said that he should show more respect by acting like a pro: a contractual obligation is a contractual obligation, so he should just do it and not complain like a spoiled baby.

Because of this, many assume the shirt is actually a diss at Tyga. Nicki can do that without having to name names, like Tyga did with her and Drake.

A very expensive diss

If the jersey is a Tyga diss, it’s a very expensive one, celebrity e-zine TMZ reports: the sheer shirt might not look like much, but it’s a Givenchy design.

It retails for the impressive amount of $1,725 (€1,555). That’s a lot of money just to diss someone in a video, while running the risk of people not catching on to the subtle jab.

Then again, Nicki can afford it.
