The latest mobile phone delivered to the market with Google's Android operating system, the Nexus one by HTC, is expected to soon make an appearance on the European market after reaching the United States already, and most of you might know by now that Vodafone is the carrier partner for its release on the old continent. No specific details on the matter were unveiled until now; yet, a recently leaked document seems to be showing the price tag one should expect for Nexus One to land at Vodafone with, €149.90 on contract. According to the leaked document, which emerged on the Web courtesy of All About Phones, the Nexus One is expected to become available on Vodafone's airwaves in February, and its price tag should be similar with the one Nokia N97 Mini and LG BL40 Chocolate already sport at the carrier. Since this is the subsidized price of Nexus One, it remains to be seen what price plan Vodafone will attach to the device.

It is already widely known that T-Mobile USA is the carrier partner for the launch of Nexus One in the United States, and the same applies to the price tags the handset is available with stateside: $530 SIM free and $179 with a T-Mobile contract agreement. The price tag for the device in Europe seems to be in line with what the previous rumors suggested, namely under €200 on contract, yet it remains to be seen how much it will cost without an agreement.

Nexus One hasn't seen too much traction on the market in the US, a recently published report from Flurry showed. With only 20,000 units sold in the first week of availability, it will be rather difficult for Google to manage selling 5 million units by the end of the ongoing year. However, its availability in more markets might help that sales number rise fast. Vodafone is expected to receive the phone within the following few weeks, so stay tuned to learn additional details.
