No need for introduction if you've played Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, a huge hit for FPS players and an even greater one for Vin Diesel fans across the world. Tigon Studios is already known for its own definition of the word "action," and no exaggeration is being made with Vin Diesel's character as I'm sure he's the same tuff guy in real life.

The trailer for the upcoming game The Wheelman is proof enough of the game's potential and I repeat, those who are used with Vin's ironic, intelligent way of handling a situation are going to get their hands on something they've long waited for. Just the guy's lines in his dialogs with the prisoners in Butcher Bay are worth getting yourself a copy the game.

The trailer was recently shown during Midway's Press Conference at the Leipzig Games Convention, featuring Diesel on a job waiting for someone with whom to take off in a red car. The get-away car, as you can imagine, is totaled by the end of the trailer in which Diesel shows off some pretty good driving skills while shooting the bad guys off their motorcycles, which clearly are no match for him. Having reached a safety point, the two get out of the totaled car without a single scratch on them. The passenger runs off scared to Diesel's discontent.

Diesel is a long time fan and player of Dungeons & Dragons and other role playing games, a fact that he proudly states in various interviews. He occasionally makes reference to D&D in his films, such as in xXx where one of the tattoos on Xander Cage (Diesel's character) reads "Melkor," the name of one of Diesel's old player characters.

The Wheelman is being developed as an intensely riveting video game from Midway, in association with Diesel's Tigon Studios and MTV Games, intended to serve as the introduction to a series of related entertainment offerings. The game will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
