One of the mobile phones that Canadian handset vendor Research In Motion is reportedly gearing up to launch in the not too far future would be the BlackBerry Touch, also known as the Storm 3, which can now be admired in a new video, with the upcoming BlackBerry OS 6.1 on board.

The new mobile phone, which sports the codename of Monaco or Monza, based on the connectivity capabilities it would be launched on the market with, should be officially unveiled as soon next month, during the BlackBerry World conference.

Nothing was confirmed on the device as of now, but rumors on it have started to emerge more frequently lately, and the device has been already spotted in a series of videos, as well as in leaked photos, not to mention that its hardware specifications emerged into the wild as well.

As stated above, the new device should arrive with RIM's BlackBerry OS 6.1 on board, and is expected to be quite fast when released on shelves, at least this is what the video embedded at the bottom of this article suggests.

The video (available via BBNews) is in Thai, which means that only those who speak the language would understand what is being said, but the images would certainly speak for themselves.

Some of the previous reports on this device suggested that it would arrive on shelves with a 3.7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display (800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution), complemented by a 1.2GHz application processor.

The CPU would be complemented by 768MB of RAM, along with 4GB of internal memory, and support for microSD memory cards of up to 32GB.

The mobile phone should arrive with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD 720p video recording capabilities, as well as with enhanced multimedia features.

The specs list would include HSDPA 14.4MBps too, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, or USB, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS receiver.

The BlackBerry Touch should measure 120 x 62 x 11.5 mm, while weighing in at around 135 grams and packing a 1,230 mAh battery inside.
