New Video and Screenshots Out for Fallout: New Vegas Honest Hearts DLC

The next DLC pack for Fallout: New Vegas, Honest Hearts, has just received a brand new video as well as a batch of screenshots that depict scenes from the new adventure that will be released for the RPG next week.

Fallout: New Vegas is set to receive three new downloadable content packs in the next few months, with the first being Honest Hearts.

Now, Bethesda, the game's publisher, and Obsidian, its developer, have released a batch of screenshots and a video depicting some of the scenes that will be encountered by players of Fallout: New Vegas if they get the new DLC.

In case you missed the first announcement, Honest Hearts marks the first meeting between the hero of the game, The Courier, and the mysterious Burned Man.

"Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah's Zion National Park," Bethesda said. "Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion."

The video depicts a monolog of the Burned Man, who, after surviving being set on fire and thrown off a cliff into a river, isn't exactly the most lucid of Fallout: New Vegas' character roster.

The screenshots depict some of the scenery from the Zion park, as well as the natives, who aren't exactly thrilled with the presence of the Courier or anyone else besides their brethren.

You can see that Obsidian took its time with the release of Honest Hearts in order to really polish the visuals and show off the beauty of the park through some of the images below.

Honest Hearts for Fallout: New Vegas is out on May 17 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, costing $9.99 or 800 MS Points.
