Quite a lot of new details about the PlayStation Vita have appeared in the last couple of days, with its biggest release, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, now getting some fresh screenshots that show off the quality of its graphics and the power of the handheld console.

We found out yesterday that plenty of titles will be available when the Vita is going to be released next February in Europe and North America, and Golden Abyss is among them.

As the first outing of the Uncharted series onto portable devices, Golden Abyss is set to bring most of the same mechanics from the PlayStation 3 titles, while improving them through things like the touch controls, thanks to the 5-inch OLED touchscreen of the Vita.

Now, in case most of you weren’t convinced that the game will retain the same Uncharted feel, Sony has presented some more screenshots, which you can enjoy in the gallery below.
