The summer of big budget blockbusters is almost over, but that's not to say there's nothing left to be looking forward to. “Lawless” is one of the most anticipated releases of late August, both because of its impressive cast and the promise of a remarkably well told story.

A new trailer for it has been released and, as usual, you can check it out in full above.

*Please note that this is a red band release, which means discretion is strongly recommended when viewing it because it contains imagery and language that may offend.

“Lawless is the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers: bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia,” says the official synopsis.

“In this epic outlaw tale, inspired by true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant’s family in his novel 'The Wettest County in the World,' the loyalty of three brothers is put to the test against the backdrop of the nation’s most notorious crime wave,” adds the same.

Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf play the Bondurants. Jason Clarke, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Guy Pearce and Gary Oldman also star.

“Lawless” will be out on August 29.
