The winter of 2010/2011 has really taken its toll on people from all over the Northern Hemisphere, and in order to help people listen to their favorite music while fighting their way through the mountains of snow, the Midland Radio Corporation has just unveiled two earwarmer headsets for US customers, namely the SubZero and BT SKI. Both new headsets sport a faux fur lining, comfortably hug one's neck and adjust to snugly fit any size head, providing both a good level of warmth and a high sensitivity, noise cancelling microphone allowing users to clearly hear their music or caller without background noise interference.

Delivering a high quality stereo surround sound, both headsets are easy-to-use, since one will simply have to press once to answer an incoming call or once to pause/resume playing music or oress twice to advance to the next song.

Both models come with a 3.5 stereo plug compatible with iPhone, Droid and other types of cell phones, while the cable is also compatible with iPod and MP3 players or easily connects to Midland’s 2-way radios.

“The SubZero is a corded headset and is perfect for individuals who spend time outdoors in the colder weather,” said Charlie Speights Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Midland. “Now you can enjoy your music or talk on the phone while working outside or participating in outdoor sports activities.”

Speights continued, “Designed primarily for skiers, the BT SKI can be comfortably worn with or without a helmet. It’s one of the best solutions for Bluetooth communications, and can be used as an intercom, stereo, phone or with a Midland2-way radio.”

Both products are available in two colors, namely black and camouflage, while pricing is set somewhere in the vicinity of 55 US dollars for the SubZero and 200 US dollars for the BT SKI.
