When it rains, it pours, and when it comes to HTC's Android lineup, one can always expect to learn that a new device has recently leaked into the wild. The last such mobile phone to emerge on the Internet is reportedly a high-end handset that would make it to Verizon's airwaves sometime in 2011, but which can be admired now in some pretty good quality photos.

Unfortunately, it seems that there are no specific details available on the name under which the new mobile phone would arrive on the market. However, a recent article on AndroidGuys suggests that we should see this beauty on Verizon's airwaves in 2011, and that it should pack support for both CDMA and GSM networks.

Among the rumored specifications of the new device, we can count a 4-inch touchscreen display, which is complemented by a 4-row QWERTY keyboard. Moreover, the device is said to pack a 1.2 Ghz processor, though no info on whether it would be a dual-core chip or not were unveiled.

As for the OS flavor the phone would be running under, chances are that it would be Android 2.2 Froyo, especially since it should arrive next year but, since Google was rumored to come up with a new OS version before the year's end, Android 3.0 Gingerbread would be a strong possibility too. However, the phone is only an early build at the moment, which means that it might suffer major changes by the time it would be released on the market, so nothing is carved in stone.

One of the photos displays this device next to the HTC EVO 4G, currently available for purchase at Sprint, showing that it would have about the same dimensions as the already available device, though with a smaller screen. Take a look at the photos available with this Verizon-bound Android phone from HTC, and stay tuned for more info on it.
