Insperity, the developer of the popular ExpensAble application for iPhones, has just announced the expansion of its mobile application to encompass Droid and BlackBerry devices.

ExpensAble Mobile allows Android and BlackBerry users to capture receipt images, add expense details, calculate currency exchange rates and more.

In addition, managers can approve or reject expense reports through the application in an easy and quick to master way.

ExpensAble Mobile’s receipt imaging function completely eliminates the need for submitting paper receipts.

Those who install the application will only need to enter expenses through the software and the information will be stored in an E-bin until the user is ready to complete the expense report.

According to the developer, a digital back-up is also created for easy access in case the need arises for the results to be audited later.

Keeping track of paper receipts is a time-consuming hassle for both the person incurring expenses and the individual who must manually input the information into a company’s accounting software,” said John Tangredi, Insperity Expense Management president.

Users will also be able to take advantage of the integrated built-in currency converter, as an additional benefit of the application.

Users who want to download and install the ExpensAble Mobile application can do so directly from their smartphone, as the application is available from both Android Market or BlackBerry App World stores.

Expense reporting doesn’t have to be an onerous activity,” said Tangredi. “ExpensAble Mobile simplifies the process, thereby enabling a company’s employees to focus on the aspects of their business that are most critical to their success rather than on time-consuming administrative tasks.”

However, once corporate information is entered, the application must be activated, which requires Internet connectivity to upload expenses.
