Protective cases for Apple's iPad that also pack a Bluetooth keyboard seem to be among the hottest accessories of late 2010, since we've come across quite a few products of this type over the past couple of weeks, the latest to join this expanding family being Adesso's Compagno Bluetooth Keyboard.

The Compagno (which sounds a whole lot better than WKB-2000CB, which is this thing's official product number) features a water resistance Bluetooth wireless technology keyboard, with multimedia hotkeys and case featuring a custom tray for keyboard, multiple viewing angles, and contemporary European design for your iPad.

The manufacturers claim that they've designed the case to be fast and “whisper” quiet, the standard key layout including iPad and Multimedia Hotkeys that make for easy use of the iPad’s multimedia tools and shortcuts.

The Compagno is also “removable” should the user want to use it with any other Bluetooth device, such as your PC or a Bluetooth Smart Phone, while the silicon material used in the keyboard protects it against spills and can easily be wiped clean with a damp cloth or disinfectant.

Moreover, the company points out that, unlike other silicone keyboards, the rigid backing on the Compagno provides a fast response, while the tactile key switches are almost silent.

Furthermore, the case has been designed to offer multiple viewing angles for either heavy typing or just to relax and watch a movie, while the one touch Bluetooth button allows for easy connectivity.

Plus, having a built-in rechargeable polymer battery (getting the necessary juice via USB) means never having to shop for replacements, while the built-in On/Off switch ensures the fact that battery life is saved, whenever possible.

Adesso’s WKB-2000CB has an MSRP of $79.99, which pretty much ranks it on the same page as some of the other Bluetooth-enabled, keyboard-packing iPad cases we've come across up until now.
