Television personality is now trying to pin it on Tristan MacManus

Whether for one thing or the other, Nancy Grace manages to grab headlines for all the wrong reasons while doing her best to win the mirrorball trophy on the latest season of DWTS. The latest is that she may have passed gas during an interview.

It happened on the most recent show when, going backstage after their dance to talk to Brooke Burke, a sound very much like that made when passing gas was loudly heard – and caught on tape.

After video of the accident got out online and people had already started talking about how Nancy had suffered yet another mishap on the show, she came out saying that she could vouch she wasn’t the culprit.

Also then, she stressed that neither was partner Tristan MacManus or Brooke.

She’s now changed her story: talking to paparazzi from TMZ, Nancy hinted that she knew exactly where the sound came from because the person was standing next to her, as the video below will confirm.

As she puts it, “if you listen very carefully, to that clip, it has an Irish accent.” In other words, she’s saying Tristan was the one.

TMZ is not convinced by that, saying that it’s usually the one who points fingers that’s the culprit.

“She’s pinning it on her partner, Tristan MacManus. As the old saying goes... the one who denied it, supplied it,” the e-zine writes.

This is not the first time that Nancy grabs headlines for non-dance-related events on DWTS. Before the whole breaking wind accident, she had a wardrobe malfunction on live TV, as her breast popped out of her dress.

She denied that too, saying she had pasties and an “industrial-strength bra” on, so whatever people thought they’d seen was nothing – because it never happened.

Below is video of Nancy Grace saying Tristan passed gas in the interview. The video of the accident is also embedded underneath the article.
