Only a short while after she was forced to publicly defend herself for going back on food stamps in order to be able to put food on the table for herself and her 14 kids, Nadya Suleman is again caught in the eye of the storm after her stylist told authorities that she was guilty of child neglect.

TMZ has video of Children's Services and police paying the controversial mom of 14 a visit to establish whether the claims by the stylist are accurate.

If they are, she could be in a world of trouble, the celebrity e-zine says.

“The La Habra Police Department and the Orange County Dept. of Family and Children's Services showed up at the home of Octomom Nadya Suleman Tuesday night, after receiving a complaint from her hairstylist that the mother of 14 allows her kids to live in horrendous conditions,” TMZ notes.

The stylist went to the police and painted a very bleak account of what went on in the Suleman household and, it would seem, it's the kids who have the most to suffer.

“The plumbing is a disaster... there is only one working toilet in the house; some of the kids are pooping on portable training toilets located in their bedrooms and in the backyard; the kids appear malnourished and unbathed,” TMZ writes of the claims made by the unknown woman.

“She observed Octomom locking her kids in a bedroom while she tended to personal matters; [and] the house is filthy,” says the e-zine, adding that the stylist made other claims as well.

For the time being, an investigation is underway. Authorities visited Suleman and spent about an hour and a half at her place, concluding that the kids were not in any immediate danger.

However, they will be monitoring her for a while longer before drawing a definite conclusion.
