Like its fellow and rival company Thermaltake, NZXT has taken a cue from the new wave of gaming system platforms and delivered a product meant for high-end systems, one whose name is Sentry Mesh.

Sine Intel completed the Z68 chipset, and motherboard makers have already delivered platforms based on it, Maingear, iBuyPower and other companies have already adopted it.

Also, end-users themselves are bound to start making their own configurations, with different degrees of enthusiast and style.

Either way, there will definitely be a new bunch of gamers eager to have a system that is as good-looking as it is mighty.

Among other things, this implies an increased market for even less common computer accessories, like fan controllers.

Normally, fan controllers aren't used much, but enthusiasts sometimes try overclocking scenarios that need that extra bit of air.

Water cooling is all well and good, but the inside of a case may still get a bit thick with warmth, so they might want to turn the fans up a bit.

NZXT, thus, delivered the Sentry Mesh, which is a more or less minimalist solution meant to fit into a 5.25-inch drive bay, the type usually occupied by ODDs (optical disk drives).

It has five sliders of 30W, so that it can individually manage the same number of spinners, wherever they may be located in the chassis. A mesh front is used, so that it may blend in easily with dark cases.

“Sentry Mesh is a perfect minimalist solution for gamers who want to customize their airflow, but don’t need a ton of extra features” said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT.

The newcomer uses a 3-pin connector to draw power from the PSU (power supply), is made of plastic and mesh and already has its own product page, located here.

Prospective purchasers will have to be ready to part with the sum of $24.99.
