Motorola has launched a new iTunes enabled handset in the UK. The RAZR V3iM model is a flip phone that borrows its design from Motorola's RAZR and takes its characteristics a step further by adding expandable memory and support for Apple's popular music service iTunes.

The new handset is based on the V3i model, sharing the same interface except for an iTunes icon that gives access to the application.

There is also a dedicated key that can be used to speed up the process. The iTunes software on the V3iM lets users access playlists, artists, songs and shuffle mode.

The storage space is provided by 512 MB of memory, but unfortunately there is a limit of 100 songs that can be stored on the phone.

The handset can be used in the airplane mode, meaning that one can use the phone exclusively as an MP3 player in order to preserve battery power.

Additional features found on the phone include 262k color display, integrated 1.2 megapixel camera, quad-band international coverage, memory expansion up to 1 GB, and Bluetooth.
