Spotted on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website at the end of last week, Motorola Sage resurfaces on the Bluetooth SIG webpage, which also provides a picture of the smartphone. Not officially announced yet, Motorola Sage is rumored to be shipped through AT&T carrier, as it features HSDPA on the 850 and 1900MHz bands.

Motorola Sage has been described on Bluetooth SIG's page as a “simple QWERTY device with an approachable appearance that helps you save time by merging both your personal and professional lives with an integrated calendar and integrated in-box for email/messages/Social Network updates.” While the picture accompanying the description of the device doesn't show any QWERTY keyboard, most likely this is a side slider smartphone.

Only a few specs are known since Motorola Sage MB508 has been spotted on the FCC website. The Android-based smartphone features, 3.1 inch touchscreen display, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 2 Mbps, quadband EDGE compatibility, WiFi 802.11b/802.11g connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support, and digital compass. The photo of the device provided by Bluetooth SIG is blurred, but it was named Sage.jpg, which leads us to believe this is the same device that was spotted on the FCC webpage a few days ago. We're not sure when this Android smartphone will be officially announced and how much it will cost, but more information should be available soon.

At the moment AT&T customers got the treat and can now choose between some of the hottest smartphones on the market Samsung Captivate Galaxy S, Blackberry Torch, iPhone 4, Palm Pre Plus, and more. This should be the second Motorola device coming on AT&T, after Motorola Backflip was shipped out by the same carrier starting last month.

The Backflip is now selling for only $59 USD, but it requires a minimum data service starting at $15/month. 2 year contract and new activation. Motorola Sage MB508 might be tagged with a similar price, as they are much the same.
