Motorola's latest innovative mobile accessory is called LAPDOCK 100 and allows users who own webtop-enabled smartphones to visualize multiple windows at the same time.

With Motorola LAPDOCK 100 users can text long emails or messages, create documents with the dedicated keyboard and integrated two-finger touchpad, as well as watch and share their favorite movies.

Although the lapdock was mentioned several times in Motorola Mobility's official press releases, there was no word on its price or release date.

In this regard, Motorola Mobility has just confirmed that the LAPDOCK 100 will be available via AT&T beginning October 17, as well as Verizon Wireless and Sprint.

However, it appears that both Sprint and Verizon will be getting the lapdock later this year for a price that will be disclosed in due time.

According to Motorola, LAPDOCK 100 is compatible with several Motorola smartphones, including Motorola ATRIX 2, PHOTON 4G, as well as DROID Bionic.

Obviously, the lapdock will support future Motorola webtop-enabled devices, as well.

Motorola LAPDOCK 100 weighs 2.2lbs (a bit under 1kg) and comes with a high-capacity battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to five hours of continuous use.

In addition, the LAPDOCK 100 comes with the latest versions of Firefox browser and Adobe Flash, along with a PC-like File Manager that allows users to view, copy, paste, move or delete files on their smartphone or an SD memory card.

It features a brilliant 10.1-inch high resolution screen, as well as multitasking function and high quality audio. The large QWERTY keyboard integrates dedicated Android keys, as well as a touch-pad.

Last , but not least, the device is delivered with two USB ports for USB storage, so external drives can be added to back up or transfer sensitive content.

Motorola Mobility has yet to announce the price of the Motorola LAPDOCK 100.
