One of the few feature-phones launched by Motorola in the past six months, Motorola GLEAM+ has just been launched in Hungary. The stylish clamshell will be available on the market starting this month from 30,900 HUF (135 USD or 105 EUR).

The sequel of the Motorola GLEAM feature-phone that was launched last year, the GLEAM+ is a bit slimmer and sleeker at only 13.5mm.

Customers who wish to try out this basic handset should check out T-Mobile Hungary’s store locations in the following days.

The handset comes with a decent enough 2.8-inch WQVGA internal display that supports 400 x 240 pixels resolution and 260k colors.

On the outside, Motorola GLEAM+ sports an interesting LED matrix display that provides users with notifications and alerts every time they miss a call or message.

Furthermore, the clamshell packs around 50 MB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 16 GB via microSD card. In comparison, the original GLEAM model is equipped with just 5 MB onboard memory.

On the back, the GLEAM+ sports a sub-par 2-megapixel camera with fixed focus, digital zoom and video recording. Don’t put your hopes high on quality as the shutter is only there to offer users the possibility to share captured pictures via messaging or through social networks.

Motorola GLEAM+ features a 750 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 17 days of standby time.

Motorola GLEAM+ is as a stylish and easy to use as ever for the consumer who enjoys the simple things in life, without compromising on design and functionality. We designed this handset with a clear focus on delivering a great experience in a simple, sleek and stylish design,” said Małgorzata Matusiewicz, head of marketing, Central Europe, Motorola Mobility.
