Today, just as promised a few weeks ago, wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has made available for purchase a new Android-based device, namely the Motorola CHARM.

T-Mobile customers interested in purchasing the new handset from their carrier can get the CHARM for only $74.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement on a an Even More plan and after a $75.00 mail-in rebate.

Sporting a candybar form factor, the new device is meant to prove a great option for heavy texters, it seems, as it comes with a QWERTY keyboard in a compact design.

Moreover, the new Android mobile phones in T-Mobile's offering complements the QWERTY keypad with touchscreen features for its small display, in addition to packing support for 850 MHz; 900 MHz; 1800 MHz; 1900 MHz; UMTS: Band IV (1700/2100) frequencies.

The Motorola CHARM offers the smartphone features you want, plus enhanced MOTOBLUR to keep you updated on the latest happenings in your social life—all in a sleek, slim design. With a QWERTY keyboard and a touch screen, you get faster, more efficient access to messaging and the Web,” the wireless carrier states.

The specifications list of this device includes a 3-megapixel photo snapper, 3.5mm Audio Jack, Media Player, enhanced Web Browsing capabilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS with Navigation Capability, Bluetooth connectivity, and Visual Voicemail.

At the same time, we should note that it comes with a microSD memory card slot that enables users add more storage space into the equation, or that it includes voice-activated functions.

Not to mention that users can easily personalize their experience on this handset via downloading and installing applications from the Android Market.

The Motorola CHARM measures 3.9 x 2.7 x 0.5 inches and weighs in at 3.9 ounces, while packing a 1420mAh Li-ion battery that can offer up to 9 hours of talk time or up to 15 days of standby time.
