14 DAY TRIAL // Recently launched in the United States via AT&T, Motorola ATRIX 2 has just been announced for other markets as well.
According to Motorola Mobility, the ATRIX 2 will be subsequently launched in China, Asia, Middle East and Latin America, beginning mid-October.
It's either a marketing decision that only Motorola can explain, or the smartphone will be launched in Europe under a different moniker.
However, until Motorola issues any additional statements regarding the availability of the phone in other regions, we should assume that the ATRIX 2 does not have any launches planned for any European countries.
The successor of the popular Motorola ATRIX, the ATRIX 2 comes with several improvements, including better processor and camera, as well as larger display.

The ATRIX 2 is equipped with a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, an ULP GeForce graphics processing unit, 8 GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
The brilliant 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 540 x 960 pixels resolution is protected by Gorilla Glass display.
In addition, the phone boasts an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities.
Software-wise, Motorola ATRIX 2 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets.
It also comes pre-loaded with an interesting ZumoCast application that provides users with unlimited access to music playlists, pictures and videos via a computer’s hard drive.
No word on the price options yet, but these will probably be announced closer to release.
