It looks like Nokia has yet to bring some surprises for its users. The company has launched some while ago a social networking site, for bringing its brand even closer to people.

The "Mosh" website has been launched at first as a social network which could be accessed only from inside the Yahoo offices. At the time, it was considered very likely to replace the Yahoo 360 social network services. That offered it a great amount of potential right from the start, as the comparison has been made with one of the strongest networks that Yahoo manages.

Nokia has described "Mosh" as "A user-generated content platform designed specifically for use with any mobile device". It enables its users to "Create, upload, collect and share applications (like games, software mashups, videos, blogs, music and photos)", right from their mobile phones, with little effort.

The advantages that such a website brings are huge and manage to circle around the Nokia brand a large number of people. This will be the first-ever social network created by a mobile phone producer and is bound to bring an even greater amount of popularity to its name.

Users of the "Mosh" services will also be able to browse through other accounts and see the media files that other people have used. The website is designed to work with both a mobile and desktop interface with the same amount of efficiency. The cross-platform design that this social networking website uses is meant to bring closer mobile phone and PC users towards using the same type of media services.

Joining "Moh" proves to be quite easy, as the user only has to provide an email address for receiving the password for entering the site. With the launch of this new social network, Nokia has managed to make one more step towards the new marketing strategy that they are looking to push from now on.
