This could be the next build for Windows Insiders

There's a lot of speculation online regarding the new version of Windows 10 that could be released to insiders, and screenshots reaching the web on a daily basis do nothing more than to fuel all these rumors even more.

This time, a new set of screenshots coming from Russia reveal the same Windows 10 build 10022 that we saw in other photos yesterday, but today we're finally provided with a quick glimpse into what the new Start menu/Start screen is going to look like.

As you can see for yourselves, there are only small differences as compared to the existing build 9926 that's available right now to Windows Insiders, but it's also a confirmation that Microsoft is very keen on using this new Start menu and Start screen mix for the final version of Windows 10.

Small tweaks for the Start screen

The design of the Start screen remains pretty much the same, with only a small tweak applied to the full screen button that allows you to toggle between the Start menu and the Start screen.

Other than that, live tiles are basically identical with their older siblings in Windows 10 build 9926, although they now seem to be aligned to the left side of the screen, possibly in an attempt to make room for new options on the right. This is just pure speculation, so don't take anything for granted.

Unfortunately for those who expected to get significant Start menu and Start screen improvements in the next build, these don't seem to be ready yet. Transparency for the Start menu will be here at some point in the future, and Microsoft has already confirmed this, but it might not be part of the next release.

As for the build that could get the go-ahead this week, there are still a lot of unknown things around us, starting with the version number and ending with the release date.

There have been quite a lot of leaks recently, pointing to build 10009, 10014, 10020, and 10022, but the last one is part of the fbl_impressive launch and has the biggest chances to see the light of day.

More details are likely to be offered anytime soon, as Microsoft is expected to release this fresh build in just a few days.
