Capcom and Nintendo of America have announced an agreement related to offering a new bundle for Monster Hunter Tri. The package will offer the fresh videogame together with a Classic Controller Pro peripheral for the Nintendo Wii. The bundle is set to be sold for 59.99 dollars starting with April. That's just a 10 dollar premium over the normal price of the videogame.

The Classic Controller Pro that comes with Monster Hunter Tri should be completely black but Nintendo is saying that a white version will also be offered at retail for 19.99 dollars. The peripheral can be used with 450 titles that have been released for the Wii, either at retail or through WiiWare and through the Virtual Console service that Nintendo offers.

Steve Singer, who is the vice president in charge of licensing at Nintendo of America, said that “Monster Hunter Tri has made a huge splash in the Japanese market, and we’re confident the bundle with the Classic Controller Pro will give fans in North America plenty to get excited about. Gamers of all kinds enjoy playing games on Wii. Monster Hunter Tri delivers an incredible new experience on Wii, while the Classic Controller Pro gives players even more control options for their favorite Wii games.”

Monster Hunter Tri is set to arrive during spring in North America, after taking the Japanese games market by storm and selling more than half a million copies in its first week on sale.

The game is set to offer sub-aquatic battles with huge creatures for the first time in the series while also pushing the Nintendo Wii to the limit in order to deliver beautiful graphics and a very engaging cooperative multiplayer experience. Players will be able to control Monster Hunter Tri with the Wiimote and the Nunchuck but also with the Classic Controller and with the new Pro version.
