Mobestar announced earlier this week mSpace, a toolset that enables brand owners to instantly create an interactive mobile space allowing them to follow their investment in big screen, TV and Internet advertising into the "fourth screen" (mobile phone).

mSpace comprises components for mobile profile matching, name-based telephony, optimized image rendering to 9000 variants of mobile phones, chat-rooms, forums and rapid person-to-person messaging. Usage may be metered and can be integrated in existing online applications or billed by uniquely mobile methods such as micro-billing, opt-out subscription services and "pay per minute" service access. Bluetooth-based location specific publishing and campaign management software are also included to allow Local Area Marketing (LAM) points to be created within exhibitions, stores, street furniture or galleries where publishers or community members can post images making for inexpensive upload and tear down.

mSpace pre-integrates all the essential components of a full mobile community solution allowing customers to focus on delivering and deriving value as providers to a community rather than on the technical complexity of delivering each component. Current installations include Pirelli, Living TV and Berkeley Homes. The company derives revenue from sharing the resulting new income and comes equipped with tools to allow easy mass migration from the web to the new mobile-accessible community platform.

The company will be launching mSpace at the 3GSM World Congress 2007 held in Barcelona between 12th and 15th of February.
