14 DAY TRIAL // New Zealand-based online store called Mighty Ape has just announced the new collection of USB thumb drives that have the Marvell Avengers characters theme.
The new drives may prove cumbersome to use on a daily basis and don’t seem to be targeting normal users or enthusiasts, but rather collectors and movie fans along with comic book readers.
This highlights the different criteria for choosing these drives, as the buyer is surely leaving out the speed, size and cost.
The official site doesn’t even mention whether the drives are USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 and, therefore, we can’t tell you that either.
What we can most definitely tell you is that the price of these small toys is considerably higher than the norm for a 8 GB thumb drive. Mighty Ape is trying to sell these for 40 USD.
That would be around 31 EUR for European collectors.
