Bing Daily Deals, the service that provides users with the option to sign up for receiving emails on various deals in the local area, has been rebranded as MSN Offers.

Through Bing Daily Deals, users were offered the possibility to purchase deals and redeem them via the website as soon as the promotion was over.

The service can easily prove of great help for users who are always interested into finding the best deals available around, that's for sure.

However, given the fact that users might have mistaken the service for the Bing Deals service from Microsoft, the company decided to change its name.

Bing Deals brings together deals from over 200,000 deals from major providers and retailers, with companies like Groupon, LivingSocial, Nordstrom, Target and many others, included, all in a single place.

Thus, he company decided to transform the said Bing Daily Deals into MSN Offers, so as to avoid any confusion that might arise from the two services having a similar name.

The change was already made, and those who try accessing http://www.bing.com/daily-deals are redirected to MSN Offers now.

Microsoft already announced users on the move, via email, liveside.net reports. Here's what the message says:

We wanted to give you a heads up that Bing Daily Deals will soon be re-named MSN Offers.

It’s the same great set of values in your local area, but we wanted to clear up confusion between the Daily Deals you receive via email and the Bing Deals feature which aggregates daily deals from hundreds of providers at Bing.com/Deals.

Moreover, better aligning Daily Deals with MSN, where you can go to find the best things going on in your local area, seems to make good sense.

You don’t need to do or change a thing. You’ll still be getting the same great deals, with the same account information.

Those who would like to learn more on the said offers, or would like to get started with the service, should head over to MSN Offers here.
