Michael Shannon, being the amazing actor that he is, can take even an offensive thing like the Delta Gamma letter that went viral last week and turn it into art. Besides being extremely funny, it’s also a statement to his talent.

Shannon, who will be seen next in Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel,” teamed up with Funny Or Die for a dramatic reading of the email sorority president Rebecca Martinson sent out to her sisters about how they had repeatedly failed her.

Because of the very, very strong language it contains, I won’t embed it here. You can check out the video in full over at Funny Or Die, but *please note that extreme caution is recommended.

“If you just opened this like I told you to, tie yourself down to whatever chair you’re sitting in, because this email is going to be a rough [expletive]-ing ride,” Shannon begins by saying.

And he’s right: man, he sure can make even the silliest things sound extremely dangerous. I love him, I will not lie. He’s a brilliant actor.
