Michael Bay slams Megan Fox once more about her behavior on “Transformers” set

The latest issue of GQ magazine comes with an article meant to promote the upcoming “Transformers” film, “The Dark of the Moon.” Among other things, it also includes quotes from the staff on Megan Fox’s departure – and it’s not pretty.

Fans must know that Megan Fox left the franchise after two films, amidst rumors that she was no longer on good terms with director Michael Bay.

Bay tells GQ that, indeed, it was the comment Fox made during a press conference (comparing him to Hitler on set) that cost her her job.

Even though he wasn’t offended by it, he hints that she would have been fired either way for being the only one who was unprofessional on set.

“She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry. You gotta stay focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven [Spielberg] said, ‘Fire her right now’,” Bay reveals for the publication.

When Megan compared him to Hitler, he wasn’t even that surprised because he knew she always wanted to cause a fuss with things she said or did.

“I wasn’t hurt, because I know that’s just Megan. Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way,” the director says.

“I’m sorry, Megan. I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy,” Bay adds.

And then, to drive the message home, Bay goes on to say, “Listen, I mean, Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] came in and she would say hello to the crew. She would acknowledge the crew. She’d say thank you.”

In the same article, former co-star Shia LaBeouf, together with other staff members, also throws Fox under the bus, saying that the project was a ship and Bay was the captain: and you simply don’t badmouth your captain, that’s just something that you never do.

“Transformers: The Dark of the Moon” is out in US theaters on June 29.
