MetroPCS Communications, Inc. and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) announced today the release on the US market of the Samsung Tint, which comes to users in a sleek, compact flip design, proving to be a great option when it comes both to durability and fashion.

The new Samsung Tint comes with gray and pink faceplates, allowing users to change it according to their style. In addition, more faceplates sporting other colors are also available, not to mention the customizable wallpaper, banner themes and fonts, which are all meant to allow users to personalize their mobile experience even more. The handset comes with an integrated camera, messaging capabilities including SMS, MMS, email and IM messaging, advanced voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity and speakerphone, while also providing users with the option to surf around the Web, download ringtons or graphics, or stay in touch with friends through social networking sites. ChatLINK, a push-to-talk social networking tool, has been included with the handset so as to offer users immediate access to family and friends, given the walkie-talkie-like functionality it features.

As many of you might already know, MetroPCS is the leading provider of unlimited, flat-rate wireless communications service in the United States, and the new Samsung Tint, says the operator, has been added to its offering as proof of its commitment to deliver a wide selection of mobile phones for its low-cost unlimited service.

According to the carrier, the fresh Samsung Tint can be purchased with all of its service plans and is available in all metropolitan areas covered by MetroPCS, including Greater Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Detroit, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco Sacramento, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, at all MetroPCS authorized dealers and at the company's retail locations. More information can be found on the operator's site.
