Women would probably go for pink

This is not my personal opinion but it seems that, according to the data gathered by a website dealing with such things, men really like the black ones. Although women also like the same models they go for different colors probably because they need a little more color in their lives.

If you were thinking about what I think you were thinking, then you'll be surprised to find out I'm talking about mobile phones. As a study undertaken by the phone retailer MPhone shows, men and women do like the same kind of phones despite what we thought before but, what a surprise, they pick different colored handsets.

As Harry Novick, senior site manager says, "we began to explore trends and purchasing patterns to help us develop our website to best suit our client?le. We expected to see big differences in buying patterns when comparing age, gender and other factors. Instead, for example, out of a sampling of 114 Motorola Razr purchases, exactly 57 were made by men, and 57 were made by women. The differences were not in the device, but in the color!"

Not only is this not such a breakthrough discovery but it is also based on irrelevant data because, as they add, "while we know who is ordering the phones, our data does not indicate who is actually going to be carrying the phone. This may affect our results any number of ways."

They should have saved their money and, instead of searching for ways to get free publicity, send me an e-mail to explain them how things are: men like the black ones and females go for the ones with colors that match the color of their clothes.

That is called fashion and it's the main reason why pink cellphones were invented. In a world were women didn't exist, pink would probably never been invented in the first place.
