Lindsay Lohan is at death’s door – that’s the story that people close to her and police officers usually working with her whenever she needs someone to keep the paparazzi at bay are telling the media. In response, several major publication in the US have already started preparations for the actress’ death by having her obituary ready and on hand, just in case, PopEater reports.

Though this is as disturbing as it gets, it’s not uncommon practice, if one is to trust reports in the media. Back in the day when Amy Winehouse was out of control and could not stop using drugs and abusing alcohol, several British tabs too jumped the gun and came up with her obituary, which they kept close at hand to be the first to run it in case something bad happened to her. The same is now happening with Lohan, as she’s reportedly in grave danger if she doesn’t seek professional help for her problem.

“Several sources have confirmed to me the heartbreaking news that media outlets have prepared Lindsay Lohan’s obituary within the past few months just in case the troubled actress passes away. ‘News outlets need to be prepared. However shocking a story it might be, they are in the business of breaking news fast and any preparation that can be done ahead of time is them just simply doing their jobs,’ a senior producer at a major news outlet tells me. ‘We all scrambled when Brittany Murphy and Heath Ledger died and don’t want that to happen again’,” PopEater writes.

Not all hope is lost, though. The Associated Press, for one, is refusing to comment on whether it has an obituary for Lohan done or not, which could actually mean it doesn’t. “Still, when I reached out to the Associated Press – America’s largest wire service for news – an editor there told me: ‘The AP does not talk about its internal editing or reporting plans.’ Heartbreaking. Here’s hoping all of the outlets who have written Lindsay’s obit won’t have to run it for a very long time,” PopEater further says.

The other day, in a string of odd appearances, Lindsay Lohan came out of a friend’s house, literally walking on clouds – of white powder. Though the powder was most likely talcum powder, used to prevent excessive sweating, the fact that she would pour in so much inside her shoes that it puffed from them as she walked did raise concerns as to her state at the time when she came out of the house.
