Yesterday, the Origin store posted a special listing for Medal of Honor: Warfighter that mentioned, besides already known platforms like the PC, PS3, or Xbox 360, the PlayStation Vita. Now, EA has cleared things up, saying that the listing was a mistake. Medal of Honor: Warfighter
is set to appear this October across a variety of platforms and, as we heard earlier this week, its Limited Edition would also include access into the future Battlefield 4 beta stage
The surprise announcements didn’t stop there, however, as a listing on the Origin store also mentioned that the game is coming to the PlayStation Vita, not just to the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Sadly for existing Vita owners, the listing was a mistake, at least according to an EA representative who told CVG
that an error caused the misleading page on the Origin store.
No other details were given, so it’s unlikely that Warfighter will eventually make its way onto Sony’s new portable platform, especially given EA’s reluctance to support the device.
